Johnny Appleseed

Can you believe it! Johnny Appleseed made another appearance at Lawrence Avenue on Friday afternoon...complete with his pot on his head! The applesauce we made on Thursday was a Yummy treat while we visited with Johnny on the playground basketball court.

We had lots of fun this week learning about apples, how they grow and all the foods we can make from them. We saw a silly video clip about Johnny Appleseed and started to learn a fun song entitled Peanut Butter and Applesauce. We will be perfecting the moves to this song this week!
